St Annes-based veg kit firm enjoying huge growth
A veg kit company based in St Annes has been enjoying huge success over the past couple of years and have even been named in Gardeners World magazine and The Sunday Times.
Pot Gang isn’t a name known to many people across the UK, indeed they aren’t a household name around Blackpool although that is changing fast. This company was set up in the early stages of lockdown in 2020 to cater for the many people who wished to start growing their own vegetables but didn’t know where to start and since then they have grown to the extent that they have hired two full-time employees. Just as importantly they have given 10,000 disadvantaged children the chance to grow vegetables and have even been recommended by Gardeners World and The Sunday Times, no mean achievement for a company which was only founded a couple of years ago.
The ‘Gang Gang’ consists of self-titled gang leader Sam, pot peddler Bryony and illustration whizz Theo and between them they have assisted many people throughout the area to become largely self-sustaining, at least as far as vegetables are concerned.
In these tough times, Pot Gang are to be applauded for rising to the challenges and making a success of their business and should this success continue into the future, they will become more of a household name in the area, and perhaps further afield.
If you fancy growing your own vegetables or herbs, then you can visit Potgang.co.uk and order their easy-to-use beginner kits. Heck they even offer a discount of 50% on new first-time orders with special code GETPOTTY.
We wish Pot Gang all the best in their venture and to paraphrase from their website, “you don’t need to be a Monty Don to grow fresh, varied food at home.”
