Play Expo Blackpool to attract hundreds of gamers
Computer gamers are set to descend upon Blackpool in their hundreds when the Norcalympia Conference & Banqueting Centre at the Norbreck Hotel plays host to Play Expo Blackpool 2023 in early October.
Largest computer gaming event
Play Expo Blackpool is one of the largest computer gaming events in the UK and this year’s renewal will take place on Saturday, 7th October and Sunday, 8th October at the Norbreck Hotel. The event will include tournaments and merchandise as well as arcade gaming, indie gaming, pinball and retro gaming. In what is something of a coup for the event, Play Expo Blackpool will welcome back two special guests from the USA who are high profile creative figures in the video gaming industry, namely John and Brenda Romero. The pair attended the 2022 Expo event and enjoyed themselves so much that they wanted to return to this year’s renewal where they will be involved in Q&A sessions and give talks.
Very latest games
People attending the event will be given the chance to play prototypes of yet-to-be-released Quarter Arcades as well as previewing the very latest Numskull Games titles on offer. Numskull Designs are well known within the industry for their unique and innovative merchandise which features the most well-known brands in the video gaming world such as Bandai Namco Entertainment and Capcom. Numskull are the official sponsors of Expo Blackpool 2023.
Play Expo Blackpool 2023 is being organised by director of Replay Events, Andy Brown. Replay Events is a management company for video gaming events around the world and has staged these types of event for many thousands of gamers both in Europe and further afield.
