Opening date confirmed for Blackpool’s £5m Club 3000 Bingo
Doors thrown open
Blackpool’s new multi-million pound bingo club is set to throw open its doors for the very first time within the next three weeks. Club 3000 Bingo has built new premises on Rigby Road close to Blackpool Heritage Tram Depot to add to sites which exist at Edinburgh, Liverpool and Preston. The company has announced that £50,000 prizes will be up for grabs each and every afternoon and evening for the popular National Bingo Game.
Work almost complete
The new development has been constructed on the site of the Swift Hound Pub which had been demolished back in early 2020. The bingo club had been planned for opening earlier than the current date, however the plans were put on hold due to a change of ownership at Festival Leisure Park as well as the Covid-19 pandemic. All of the work on the £5 million project is almost complete and it has been announced that the official opening date has been set for Saturday, 1st July, 2023.
Value for money
Founder of Club 3000 Bingo, Brian Fraser, said: “The club will be a fantastic venue in this great community. We are excited to open our doors on the 1st July and show both regular and new bingo customers our fabulous new club and for them to experience value for money bingo with Big Prize Money, there will be something for everyone – we cannot wait!”
The new bingo club is certain to help raise the profile of Blackpool and it will undoubtedly be a big boost to the local economy.
