Blackpool Pride 2022
Date: Saturday, 11th June 2022 10:30am to approx 11pm
Blackpool Pride Festival couldn’t take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 restrictions, however the event will return bigger and better than ever before this weekend. A grand parade will leave South Pier at approximately 10:30am and make its way to North Pier later in the morning, visitors treated to a glittering array of floats, dancers and other entertainers in a riot of colours.
The main arena will be situated close to the Metropole Hotel and from here you can enjoy a host of artists serving up live music and shows throughout the day.

Weather Forecast
The Met Office predicts that the conditions will be dry and sunny throughout Saturday and temperatures are set to reach 17 Celcius / 63 Fahrenheit later in the afternoon.
How to get to Blackpool Pride 2022
Train – the closest railway station to the main arena is Blackpool North which is just a six-minute walk away.
Car – It is expected that the more central car parks will get very busy this weekend and it is advised that you park further out of town and travel to the centre by the tram which stops very close to the main festival hub.
Bus – National Express connect Blackpool with several locations in Lancashire such as Preston, Blackburn and Burnley.
Tram – The closest tram stops to the main festival hub are North Pier and Talbot Square with trams running every 20 minutes throughout the day and evening.
Ticket Availability
You don’t need a ticket to watch the main parade along the Promenade, however you will need to purchase a ticket to watch the live music at the Main Arena on Saturday. Prices for adults start at £8.50.
The event is scheduled to draw to a close by 11pm.
