Christmas By The Sea Village returning to Blackpool for 2024

Blackpool’s spectacular and hugely popular Christmas by the Sea Village will make a welcome return in 2024 and the event promises to be even bigger and better than before.

Popular attraction

Blackpool’s Christmas by the Sea village has been a hugely popular attraction in season’s past and the family-family seafront spectacular will be back in 2024 with a free skating rink and other attractions. The village will open its doors to the public on Friday, 15th November with some fabulous family attractions and it will remain open every day until 5th January 2025 (with the exception of Christmas Day).

Record numbers

The 2023 Christmas by the Sea village – which was staged on the Tower Headland directly opposite the iconic Blackpool Tower – proved to be extremely popular with record numbers of visitors attending the event throughout the winter months. This year’s village will feature a skating rink which will nee completely free for anyone to enjoy, while other attractions will include spectacular projection shows, festive lighting installations, log cabins offering food and drink as well as Christmas gifts, festive tram rides on specially illuminated trams, Christmas trees and artificial snowfalls.

Childrens’ attractions

There will also be a wide variety of childrens’ attractions as well as thrilling rides for all ages such as the 100ft long snow slide and the 196ft tall Star Flyer. Also on offer will be a Helter Skelter, Ice Breaker thrill ride and German Swing Grill. The village will be complemented by the famous Blackpool Illuminations which are now in full swing until 5th January 2025.
