Blackpool Winter Gardens is the premier events venue in town and the attraction is set to play host to a varied and packed roster of top-quality entertainment throughout August 2024.

Wealth of excellent events

Blackpool Winter Gardens always has a wealth of excellent events taking place and the month of August is no exception, the venue playing host to Rebellion Festival from 1st to 4th August. The annual popular punk event is set to attract up to 8,000 music enthusiasts to Blackpool over the four days of the festival and as well as top class music performances, there will also be merchandise on offer as well as other entertainment and a literary festival.

Nostalgic evening

Soon after the conclusion of the Rebellion Festival, the Winter Gardens hosts a nostalgic evening in the form of ‘The Magic of Motown’ on 8th August where visitors can enjoy timeless hits from the likes of Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and The Supremes. Two days later, on 10th August, former Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola presents Le Classique De Danse Awards with choreography from Duncan Trever. On 11th August, There’s a North of England Titles evening with Ballroom and Latin prizes up for grabs, while between 19th and 24th August there’s a welcome return of the popular musical ‘Grease’.

Fabulous musical experiences

August comes to an end at the Blackpool Winter Gardens with two fabulous musical experiences, namely ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ on 29th August and ‘The British Country Music Festival between 30th August and 1st September, this three-day event a celebration of authentic country music.
