Blackpool Pride weekend returns in June 2024

Blackpool Pride has become a popular event in the annual Blackpool calendar and the festival is set to make a welcome return in June 2024 with thousands expected to attend. 

Packed and exciting programme

Organisers of the highly popular Blackpool Pride festival are preparing to put together another packed and exciting programme for what has become known as one of the town’s most flamboyant and colourful annual events. The Blackpool Pride festival is set to take place in the Holiday Inn Car Park in Queen Street, Blackpool as well as along the famous promenade (the promenade parade yet to be confirmed) and the dates for 2024 will be the weekend of 8th and 9th June. This year, organisers have promised that the diversity and inclusivity will be taken up to the next level and the best news is that early bird tickets for the event remain at just £5 during February.

One of the largest in the country

The annual Blackpool Pride festival aims to promote diversity and equality as well as offer visitors a colourful and exciting spectacle. The festival is held to help celebrate the gay rights marches which took place across the USA during the 1970s and which helped give a voice to minority groups. In 2024, many Pride festivals and events will be held throughout the UK as well as in many countries worldwide. The Blackpool events is now one of the largest in the country and it will include a colourful parade along the promenade (yet to be confirmed) which will include a number of acts as well as flags and drums. The main event will take place in the Holiday Inn Car Park, Queen Street, Blackpool.
