Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been one of the main attractions in Blackpool for many decades and it has been announced that the venue will be rebranded as Pleasure Beach Resort.

Many will be instantly familiar with the Blackpool Pleasure Beach logo, however all of this will soon be a thing of the past. While all of your favourite rides will still be available, the attraction will be rebranded as Pleasure Beach Resort to reflect the fact that the facility also offers hotel accommodation as well as pleasure rides.

Most profitable elements

This new rebranding was announced on social media last week and while many were critical of the new name, the majority recognised that it was a fair reflection of the facilities available at the site. The venue is run by the Thompson family and the company accounts reflect the fact that the hotel side of the business are one of the most profitable elements.

No official statement

This isn’t the first time that the Pleasure Beach has been the subject of rebranding. Some years ago the attraction became known as Pleasure Beach Blackpool before reverting to its familiar name. As yet, no official statement has been made with regard to the changes, however the profile image on social media outlets have been amended to show the new branding logo.
