New £5m Bingo Hall for Blackpool in 2023

A new multi-million pound bingo hall is on course for a summer 2023 opening in Blackpool.

Club 3000 Bingo has announced that it has begun work on a £5 million refurbishment of the building located at Festival Leisure Park and that the facility will be ready for business some time in late June. Founder of Club 3000, Brian Fraser, said: “We are thrilled that we are looking towards an opening date of late June 2023 and are excited about all the plans we have to open a state-of-the-art bingo club in Blackpool.”

Club 3000 revealed that they will equip the facility with the latest fittings and fixtures in order to create a luxurious environment. The hope is that this development and the investment will help provide a sizeable boost for the local economy and play a part in raising the profile of Blackpool as a unique leisure destination.

Sean Connolly has been appointed as manager of the new bingo hall. He has worked in the industry for 35 years in various locations across the country but returned to his native Fleetwood in 2019. He said:

“I’m incredibly excited and proud to be general manager of Club 3000’s brand new club in Blackpool.

“Bingo is still incredibly popular, and a big town like Blackpool will love the great value, fabulous prize money and first-class customer service that Club 3000 Bingo always offers. I cannot wait to open the doors this summer.”

With nine clubs in operation across the North-West of England, Club 3000 is the UK’s biggest independent bingo operator. This latest development was delayed due to the retail park’s change of ownership and the outbreak of Covid-19, however the project is now very much back on track.
