Blackpool Pleasure Beach on target to win many awards

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of the most popular UK attractions outside London and the venue has been nominated for no less than sixteen awards in the 2022 UK Theme Park Awards.

The full list of nominees for this year’s UK Theme Park Awards has just been announced and Blackpool Pleasure Beach are up for 16 awards. These awards consist of 22 different categories and while there are some new categories such as Best Wooden Coaster, Best Steel Coaster and even Best Mascot, most have returned including Best Value, Best Customer Service and Theme Park of the Year. The UK public can once again enter votes for their favourite theme park rides, events and shows in these awards.

The voting will get underway on Friday, 22nd July and will draw to a close on Friday, 2nd September. You can vote for your favourite ride and theme park at the UK Theme Park Awards website. Until then opening date, you can enter your email address and name in order to be reminded when the voting opens.

The public votes will be combined with those from a panel of expert judges in order to get an overall winner. The winner will be anno0unced at an awards event hosted by Drayton Manor on Thursday, 22nd September.
