World Fireworks Championship dates announced for 2024
The World Fireworks Championship returns with a bang in September 2024 with the dates now confirmed for the next renewal of the hugely popular display on Blackpool Promenade. The best firework display teams in the world will once again gather together and provide thousands of spectators with a thrilling series of world-class displays along the seafront as well as a family-friendly array of shows, parades and stalls. This is a great opportunity for families of all ages to plan a late-season break in Blackpool and based on the popularity of previous displays, now is a great time to get those hotels booked well in advance.
In 2024, the World Fireworks Championship – the displays of which are all set to music – will be performed in front of Blackpool Tower on the following dates:
- Saturday, 7th September 2024
- Saturday, 21st September 2024
- Saturday, 5th October 2024
Access to the firework displays and all the associated events such as the parade and promenade shows is completely free with no tickets required. The firework displays are subject to weather and could be cancelled at short notice in the event of adverse conditions.
