Fleetwood Beer Festival returns later this month
Fleetwood Beer Festival
Fleetwood can boast a wealth of attractions and events each year and one of the most popular returns later this month, the Fleetwood Beer Festival set to get underway on Thursday 27th October. The three-day event is always extremely popular with locals and visitors alike and following previous attempts to stage it had to be called off, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre branch of CAMRA organise the Fleetwood Beer Festival and it returns for the 39th time later this month. The event will get underway on Thursday, 27th October and last for three days before closing on Saturday, 29th October. The festival will take place in its usual venue at the Marine Hall in Fleetwood.
The festival was originally due to be held in February but it was called off due to a lack of volunteers, while the 2021 event was cancelled due to the continued Covid-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, hopes are high that its new date of late October will prove to be a hit with visitors and locals alike, attendees able to enjoy a range of well over 100 different ales as well as ciders and perries from many of the best producers in the country.
The festival will get underway at noon on Thursday 27th October and continue until 11:00pm. The same times will apply to Friday’s event while it will close at 10:30pm on Saturday.
For those attending the event, Fleetwood boasts excellent transport links with the Blackpool Tram service linking the resort with Blackpool town centre. There are also excellent bus links to Blackpool. Car parking is plentiful in and around the town centre although bearing in mind the nature of the event, perhaps the car is best left at home!
