There’s an action-packed fun day for all the family at the Blackpool RNLI Lifeboat House on Blackpool’s famous promenade this Sunday with all money raised going directly to the RNLI. Come and support this deserving organisation.

The RNLI put their lives at risk each and every day to help save the lives of those in distress or having difficulties out at sea. Blackpool are rightly proud of their lifeboat and those who man her, however many don’t realise just what it involves.

At the Blackpool Lifeboat Open Day, you can find out more about the RNLI and enjoy a range of great family-orientated activities on Sunday, 27th August. You can meet the crew, enjoy tea, coffee and cakes as well as a bar and BBQ. The lifeboats will be on display while there’s an abundance of entertainment for children of all ages.

There’s even a tug-of-war competition at 2pm and a sandcastle competition starting at 3:30pm, as well as live entertainment throughout the day. Also in attendance throughout the day will be the Fire Brigade, HM Coastguard Rescue Teams, Police, St John’s Ambulance and Blackpool Beach Patrol.

Enjoy a range of stalls, live entertainment, lifeboats, competitions, fun for all the family at the Blackpool Lifeboat open Day. Entry is free and all money raised during the day goes to the RNLI.
