Punks to head to Blackpool for Rebellion Festival 2024

 

Thousands of punks will brighten up Blackpool in early August as they flock to the seaside resort for the largest punk festival in the UK, Rebellion 2024.

 

Brilliantly attired punks

Up to 10,000 brilliantly attired punks will descend upon Blackpool for the 2024 Rebellion Festival which takes place in the town from the 1st to 4th August. Fans will visit from across the country as well as further afield, while there will be many street musicians to entertain throughout the town. The hugely popular festival showcases the wealth of British and international talent at the famous Winter Gardens and as well as the many punk acts, there will also be a variety of music and fashion from glam rock, goth and ska. Weekend tickets are sold out for 2024 but the organisers of the festival have said that it is worth checking in case there are returns available.

 

Largest independent punk festival

Rebellion Festival is the largest independent punk festival to take place in this country and it will attract upwards of 300 punk bands over the weekend. It takes place for a duration of four days from Thursday, 1st August to Sunday, 4th August 2024 and is held on seven stages at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The festival also includes merchandise and food/drink stalls, a punk art exhibition and a literary festival. All ages are welcome at Rebellion Festival 2024 and while weekend tickets are completely sold out, there will still be much to see and do throughout the weekend.

Performers at rebellion Festival 2024 include Stiff Little Fingers, Toyah, The Alarm, The Tom Robinson Band, The Stranglers and Sham 69.
