New fast food restaurant to open in Blackpool

Blackpool already enjoyed a vast range of cafes and restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets but the choice is set to get even greater thanks to a new fast food restaurant which is set to open its doors at the end of the month.

Holidaymakers to Blackpool can enjoy a wide range of food outlets in and around the town, from small cafes to high-end restaurants. Nevertheless the choice of eateries is set to expand even further with a new fast food restaurant set to throw open its doors at the end of August.

Wide range of dining options

The Greedy Pig will soon welcome customers in the shadow of the famous Blackpool Tower, the eat-in and takeaway venue taking over from KFC which was formerly in the same unit. This new restaurant will serve-up a wide range of fast food options including burgers, hot dogs, jacket potatoes, soft drinks and ‘speciality’ coffee. Diners will be also able to choose from 22 different flavours of delicious ice cream.

Large number of new restaurants and bars

The unit in the town centre was left vacant following the departure of KFC two years ago and the opening of this new restaurant has been welcomed. The Greedy Pig is just one of a large number of new food and drink outlets to have opened in and around Blackpool over the past new months, other new arrivals including Turtle Bay – a Caribbean chain serving up cocktails and jerk chicken – as well as Le Plonk wine bar and Abingdon Street Market.
