Visitors to Blackpool Pleasure Beach were left wondering if they had just spotted a major celebrity last week as an Ed Sheeran lookalike was seen taking a trip on various rides around the park.

Visitors to Blackpool Pleasure Beach last week were thrilled to see what looked like famous singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran amongst the crowds, however was he the real deal or just a very good lookalike? The pleasure seeker was accompanied by security officers and was surrounded by fans asking for his signature and taking selfies.

Ed – or at least his lookalike – was seen enjoying the rides at the Pleasure Beach and he even received the VIP treatment on the more popular rides such as ICON and The Big One. Guests at the park were starstruck by the visitor with many scrambling to get closer. Nevertheless while he did bear a notable resemblance to the famous singer, he didn’t sport Sheeran’s arm tattoos and this was noticed by some fans.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has welcomed a great many famous names over the years, all of whom have enjoyed the iconic rides. It’s likely that it wasn’t actually Ed Sheeran on this occasion but that’s not to say that the singer isn’t planning a ride on The Big One, Ice Blast, Revolution or Thrill-o-Matic in the very near future!!!
